HI-740200 pH electrode storage cap with compression fitting (5 pack)

Prolong the life of an electrode with the appropriate hydration maintenance. After using your electrode, rinse off the probe with the recommended cleaner, blot with soft tissue paper, then pour 1 cm of HI-70300 storage solution into the plastic storage cap HI-740200. Place probe tip/bulb into the cap and tighten the threaded collar.

Using the probe after storage:

Remove the probe from the plastic storage tube/cap by unscrewing the top collar to vent the cap before removing. Save cap and collar for further probe storage.

Rinse off any storage solution or salts that may be on the glass body.

Important tips:

While performing maintenance and measurement, handle the probe with care. Do not drop on a hard surface as it will permanently damage the probe. During storage or transportation, utilise the storage cap to protect and keep the pH tip/bulb hydrated.
