Ideal for fresh water aquariums (not suitable for salt water marine tanks)
Designed as a more accurate alternative to chemical test kits, it is easy to use with single button operation and a large LCD display. This mini tester also features auto shut-off to ensure a longer battery life.
The HI-775 is ideal for checking water quality, great for educational and environmental applications and for use in freshwater aquaria.
Designed as a more accurate alternative to chemical test kits, the HI-775 provides quick, accurate results in four easy steps. (See below).
The HI-775 uses a colorimetric method. The reaction causes a distinctive range of colours from yellow to blue to develop. This meter has been developed to work with fresh water samples.
Please note: Any chlorine present in the sample will interfere with the reading. To remove the chlorine interference add one drop of HI-93755-53 Chlorine Remover to the unreacted sample prior to testing.
