The HI-95761-01 Total Chlorine, Ultra Low Range reagent is suitable for use with the HI-96761 & HI-97761 portable photometer.
The HI-95761-01 are high quality reagents that are pre-measured, allowing for users to achieve fast and accurate colorimetric measurements. These reagents follow an adaptation of the EPA recommended method 330.5, in which the reaction between total chlorine and the DPD reagent causes a pink tint in the sample. By simply adding the HI-95761-0 reagents to the sample, the reaction will take place and Hanna’s compatible portable meters will determine the concentration from the colour that is produced. The results will be displayed in mg/L (ppm) of total chlorine. These reagents are designed to be used with samples that have an expected range of 0.000 to 0.500 mg/L free chlorine.
