Warranty Terms
Hanna Instruments are designed and manufactured in wholly owned Hanna manufacturing facilities to ensure you receive the highest quality test and measurement instruments. Products are shipped with a limited product warranty. The length of the warranty period varies depending on the product type - see the table below for the warranty period that applies to your Hanna product.
What our warranty covers
During the warranty period your instrument is warrantied for the period shown in the table below against defects in either components or workmanship during normal use. If during the warranty period your Hanna product should develop a fault, it will, (at the discretion of HannaNorden AB), be either repaired or replaced without charge.
What our warranty does not cover
The product warranty does not cover damage caused by fair wear and tear, abnormal storage conditions, incorrect use, accidental misuse or damage, abuse, neglect, misapplication or modification.
Liability
In no event will HannaNorden AB be liable for any indirect, consequential, incidental, exemplary or special damages, including any damages for lost data or lost profits, arising from, or relating to this limited warranty or the product. HannaNorden AB's total cumulative liability arising from, or related to this limited warranty or the product, will not exceed the amount actually paid for the product by the original purchaser.

Right of withdrawal
Refunds and cancellations
If you are not satisfied with your products or change your mind, you may cancel your order within seven business days of receiving the goods and receive a full refund. You can cancel your order in one of two ways:
A). If you have not yet received your goods, you must send us a cancellation notice. This can be done via email or regular mail and must include your full name, address, a description of your order, and the order number.
B). If you have received the goods and have changed your mind or are not satisfied with the product(s), you may return them to us provided that they are unopened, remain in their original packaging, and include the original invoice along with all accessories and components ordered as part of the same transaction.
In accordance with these terms, we will refund the purchase price of the goods after they have been inspected by our quality control department to ensure that the product(s) have not been used and remain in original condition. Please note that you are responsible for the return shipping costs, unless the items were delivered to you by mistake. Our refund and cancellation policy applies to all accessories or components ordered at the time of the original purchase. Any missing accessories or components that were part of the original order but are not returned in original condition will be charged.
Once we have received notice from you that you wish to withdraw from the agreement (in accordance with these terms), any amounts charged to your credit or debit card in connection with your order will be refunded to that credit or debit card account as soon as possible and no later than 28 days from the date of your request, provided the goods you wish to return are received by us in the condition in which they were delivered and within the stated time frame.
Exceptions to the right of withdrawal
The following products are not covered by the right of withdrawal:
- Consumables (e.g. reagents, chemicals, calibration solutions) with broken packaging
- Products with broken seals
- Products that cannot be resold for hygiene or safety reasons
- Specially ordered products
How to return an item to us for warranty repair
Should your Hanna product develop a fault whilst within the warranty period, please contact our customer care team on +46 300 40 40 18 or info@hannanorden.com. Please ensure you have the model number, serial number and date of purchase to hand when making your call as this will help us expedite your service booking. Our service team will complete a returns form with you on the phone and email it to you on completion of the call to enable you to return the product(s) to us.
You as the customer are responsible for return shipping, unless the item is defective or incorrectly delivered.

Please note: Should an item be returned for investigation and the ‘fault’ turns out to be something as basic as a flat or missing battery, we do not make a charge for our service team's time in diagnosing such issues.
Please also note that HannaNorden AB & Hanna Instruments Ltd supports products purchased in the United Kingdom, Ireland and Scandinavian countries listed here: Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway, Sweden. If the product is purchased in another part of the globe then HannaNorden AB/Hanna Instruments Ltd may attempt to repair it although HannaNorden AB/Hanna Instruments Ltd cannot guarantee the outcome.
