Description
Before using the FC300B Sodium electrode for the first time, or if reactivating it after storage, the electrode should be conditioned with HI-4016-46, then soaked in the HI-4016-45 storage solution, and calibrated before measurements are taken. By conditioning the glass membrane, a thin layer of glass is removed, exposing a fresh surface in which Sodium ion exchange can occur. Using the HI-4016-46 will ensure optimum measurement performance from the FC300B Sodium ISE.
